It's identical to the Pro edition, but you cannot do Save As... PDF

and you cannot add passwords or encryption to your PDF files or password-protect your VDT files.

This is the VDT Pro Edition.  It contains several Security and other features and time-saving additions that the Basic Edition doesn't have.
